Wisdom from Children’s Stories

Working in childhood education for Unternehmensbetreuung many years taught me great respect of the world of wisdom from children’s stories. The first story I remember was a classic “The Little Tugboat” who kept saying “I think I can, I think I can”, taught us that if we try hard enough and believe in ourselves  enough everything is possible.

This week I came across a wonderful book “Oh the Places You’ll Go” by Dr. Suess and wanted to share this little bit of wisdom from this very wise story:

You have brains in your head.
You have feet in your shoes.
You can steer
yourself in any direction you choose.
You’re on your own.
And you know
what you know.
You Quote are the guy who’ll decide where to go.
