“From small beginning come great things”. Beginnings are a chance for us to look at where we would like to go, what we would like to do and how we would like to get there. What would you like to acheive this year? What is your goal?
Here are a few suggestions to questions that can help you define your goal:
What have I always dreamed of?
What is really important to me?
What would I like to acheive in my lifetime?
As you think about these questions, try to think about a specific goal that you would like to acheive in the next three months. How will you feel when you acheive that goal? Close your eyes and be in the moment of acheiving that goal. What color comes to mind?
Now, take a piece of paper and write down that goal. Be specific, define the goal so that it is something that is real and that you will be able to achieve. Read the sentence out loud. How does it sound? Close your eyes and feel yourself achieving your goal. Open your eyes and write down the goal one more time. This is your personal goal. Hang the piece of paper somewhere where you will see it clearly a few times a day.
This is a small beginning, and it can lead to great things to come.
